What a busy month September has been so far! The weeks are just flying by!
We kicked off the month with a demonstration of Victorian Flowers at Henfield Flower Club. We had a great time and met some wonderful ladies with so much flower knowledge to share. I talked about the meaning and language of flowers, and demonstrated five arrangements. Hopefully the ladies all enjoyed themselves and learnt something new! You can see the “Language of Flowers” Handtied Bouquet and Terrarium below!
We spent a lovely evening with The Broadfield Community Craft Group where 11 lovely ladies all learnt how to make Handtied bouquets and how to gift wrap them. The ladies were model students and created beautiful arrangements to take home – we can’t wait to go back in the future and teach them more tricks of the trade!
We’ve now attended the first Wedding Fair of the autumn season at The Triangle in Burgess Hill. We had a great time meeting and chatting to lots of happy couples and were very pleased with the wonderful feedback on our work! It was a great opportunity to show off and use some flowers that we really love.
We also met lots of other local wedding suppliers who we are looking forward to working with in the future, including Tea with Emily for vintage crockery, tea and cakes, perfect when combined with one of our Flower Crown Workshops, Actual Flowers who are able to preserve your fresh flower bouquet to keep forever, WickyWooWoo for simply stunning wedding cakes and Weddings and Special Occasions for gorgeous wedding dresses!
There was also a LOT of interest in our new rustic style floral arch which we are able to rent and dress for weddings, events and photo-shoots.
If you are looking for beautiful bespoke wedding flowers, your next opportunity to meet us in person is at The Horseshoe Inn Wedding Fair taking place on Sunday 20th September!
We are also pleased to now be listed with My Sussex Wedding who we will be writing a feature for soon and also Flushing Bride who you will be hearing more about next month! You can also find us on the UK Bridal Directory and Find a Wedding Supplier too.
Last, but not least, we have started our trial of gift bouquets by post. We’re pleased to report that this is going well so far, and we hope to launch a selection of arrangements for nationwide next day delivery soon!
Now it’s time to get a shuffle on with preparations for our next wedding fair!
