Welcome to Bloom Room and our blog!
First off, a quick introduction! My name is Helen (*waves*) and I founded Bloom Room in early 2015. I had daydreamed about being a florist for many years, but for too long was far too sensible to give up the day job (Engineer/Project Manger) in order to follow the dream of being a florist full time! Having finally had enough of working in the corporate world, I’ve been spending every spare moment immersed in all things flowery to build on my existing experience and here I now am, with my own business and being my own boss!
I believe in beautiful flowers, without the fuss. This applies on several levels. Firstly, there is such a wide variety of fantastic flowers and beautiful blooms out there, there really is something for everyone, and in my view there’s really no need to add anything else to arrangements. Secondly, having worked as a project manager and also having been a bride myself, I know how stressful and frustrating it can be organising things for a special event, or in particular a wedding. I know that you need to find reliable suppliers who will work with you to create exactly what you are looking for. I aim to listen to Bloom Rooms customers to understand exactly what it is they want and make that happen with the minimum of fuss.
